Our first ever Blog Ashbourne show

After a long night Friday after work I stayed in a dark cold wet shed with a leaky roof until 02:00am trying my best to get the show team in the best possible condition for the show, trimmed and a splash of colour on their fleeces made the Charollais sheep look great. A couple of hours in bed and the alarm goes at 05:30am time to get loaded up and off to the 125th Ashbourne show.

After a soggy start we had a great day at the show we took two seconds a third and a fourth place. Young Freddie took home a new tweed waste coat and flat cap with Daddy and mummy's winnings. He loved seeing a fantastic turn out of impressive shire horses, not forgetting a trip over to take a look at grandpa's show cows.
